My Purpose and Passion
My initial goal is to really serve and help others, and I think the best way I can do that is developing the gifts I’ve been given and be a good steward of them. For me, passion and purpose go hand-in-hand. Without passion your purpose becomes dull, and without purpose your passion fizzles out. I’m committed to pursuing my purpose of loving people and making them feel accepted. That’s what drives me, and I am passionate about doing that through media and connecting people. Media isn’t all bad, and I want to help people see the positivity and love available because that’s essential for a happy life. That being said, as stated above I really enjoy graphics and the visual side of journalism, and I would love to one day work at a media firm where I would consult companies and help them better their brand and overall company objectives.
Things I Enjoy
Anything with psyche.
I'm an INTJ, a 5 on the enneagram, and my Clifton Strengths are Achiever, Input, Futuristic, Learner, and Focus.
I'm a Ravenclaw, Thor is my favorite Avenger, and I am really confused why the #kylorenchallenge has become a thing.
Anything with my family. (mostly)
My family, even extended, is very close. I talk to my parents at least once a day and owe where I am to them. My grandfather is also one of my favorite people and the kindest person I know.
I love learning new things and learning in general, and if I find something I'm slightly interested in I immediately research and throw myself into completely discovering everything about it.
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.”
I recently graduated from the University of Georgia this spring. I am currently pursing my Masters degree at UGA in Emerging Media. I really enjoy graphics and design due to my minor in Studio Art, as well as an entrepreneurial side considering my certificate in entrepreneurship through the Terry College of Business and my family ties to it. My grandfather, uncle, and dad all are entrepreneurs so to say it’s a family affair is saying it lightly. To see some of my work I’ve done, you can look at my resume here. In my free time I enjoy traveling, photography, trying new restaurants in downtown Athens, any and all dogs, as well as watching the dawgs play on Saturdays!
